Description

Union Engineer

 

Crystal clear image of a bearded private in a nine-button frock with veterans’ stripe on the cuff.   His forage cap bears the small engineer’s castle device on the crown.   Photographer has tinted the private’s checks pink.  Housed in a full leatherette case with brass mat.  Interior of the left side of the case is lined with embossed red velvet.
