William H. Tipton Photograph of a Group of Men on Little Round Top – Inventory Number: ALB 266 Circa 1910 photographic print by William H. Tipton of several men seated on a boulder on Little Round Top near a series of stone breastworks. The image is mounted on a 12” by 10” mat with Tipton’s stamped mark on the upper left corner of the reverse. William H. Tipton (1850-1929) was a Gettysburg native and apprentice of the Tyson Brothers photographers as early as 1862.
