Seated 1/6th plate tintype of Union infantry drummer wearing a frock coat, forage cap, and U.S. belt. There is a Model 1840 musician’s sword visible on his hip. He sits proudly with his drum, which has a “US” applied to it with gold paint. The tintype is framed in copper and housed in a full leatherette case. A nice Civil War musician’s image with good detail.
