1/6th Plate Tintype of Union Bugler - Inventory Number: HAR 220

Scarce image of a Union soldier wearing a four-button sack coat with the collar turned downward.  He is seated in front of a patriotic backdrop featuring a fort with U.S. flag afloat He his displaying an infantry regulation bugle.  There are some minor bends and an impressed circular impression in the tin.  Housed in a thermoplastic wall frame with edge loss.  Overall a nice representative example of a scarce bugler image.
