Wonderful condition 1861 Seated Liberty Quarter that retains an even, uncleaned patina. The details on the obverse are striking; Lady liberty retains very fine detail, and “Liberty” and all lines are clear on her shield. The eagle on the reverse retains an equal amount of detail. This is one of 4,854,600 minted in Philadelphia in 1861. A very attractive Civil War coin.
Comes housed in a 4 x 5 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
