Instructions for Field Artillery. Prepared by a Board of Artillery Officers. Published by J.B. Lippincott & Co. in 1862. Classic Civil War artillery manual assembled by William F. French, William F. Barry, and Henry J. Hunt. Hardbound, over 350 pages with illustrated plates on artillery equipment and tactics. In good condition with a tight binding and some light edge wear. The inside of the front cover has a label identifying the book to the military library of Richard Allan Johnson, United States Military Academy 1946. A must have addition to a collection of Civil War military manuals.
