Silver triangle with small red enamel triangle inside signifying the 1st division. Engagements engraved on one side are: Larergne, Tenn., Trivne, Tenn., Siege of Corinth, Miss., Floyd's Fork, Ky., Falling Waters, Va., Shiloh, Tenn. Engagements engraved on the other side are: Dalton, Ga., Resaca, Ga., Chickamauga, Ga., Stone River, Tenn., Liberty Gap, Tenn. Red triangle represents the 1st Division of the 4th Corps. Small ring attached to top for hanging from pendant. This Medal was formerly part of the MOLLUS museum collection inventory 86.22.41 This Medal is photograph in The Commanders of the Civil War by William Davis on pg. 244.
