5th Corps Badge of Sebastian R. Streeter - Inventory Number: IDE 237 / SOLD

Silver Maltese cross measuring 1 1/” tall x 1 ¼” high with beautifully engraved initials S.R.S on the face.  The perimeter of the badge has a well-executed wiggle work boarder.

Residence Roxbury MA; 46 years old. Enlisted on 10/17/1864 as a 1st Lieutenant. On 10/18/1864 he was commissioned into "F" Co. MA 61st Infantry. He Resigned on 7/16/1865. Promotions: 1st Lieut. 10/17/1864. Capt 11/9/1864.

Comes housed in 5 x 6 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
