5th New York Cavalry Gauntlets / SOLD

Pair of kid skin gauntlets lined with Moroccan leather, attributed to a member of the 5th New York Cavalry. Each glove has a brass number “5” attached via two brass wires on the back of numbers. The level of verdigris around the numbers and wire attachments is consistent with the age of the gauntlets. A nice pair of Civil War cavalry gauntlets.
