Abraham Lincoln Silk Inauguration Ribbon - Inventory Number: POL 205 / SOLD

Rare large sized ribbon woven from multiple colors of silk, commemorating the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln. The ribbon measures 5” by 9 ¼” and depicts a clean-shaven Lincoln surrounded by a floral wreath with a patriot eagle motif above. The ribbon bears the makers name “S. Chrvre / 1861” and “Isaac Dreyfus Sons / Basle.” An attractive and scarce piece of Lincoln memorabilia. 

Comes housed in a display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
