One-of-a-Kind Albumen Photograph – Central image measures 6” x 8” with the original walnut frame with gold filet measuring: 10 ½” x 12 ½.  The hand carved frame constructed of hundreds of individual pieces of intricately assembled pieces, atop the oval frame is a federal shield base with an American Eagle perched atop a ball.  The top of the frame features a cockade constructed of red, white and blue silk with an image in the center.  The oval view of Lincoln is a commonly encountered example with vignette bust with artists enhancements.  The cardstock features a hand executed gold boarder with rounded corners.  An incredible Lincoln mourning albumen!
