Artillery Tar Bucket - Inventory Number: ART 070 - SOLD

Also referred to as a grease bucket.  The tar bucket is made of sheet iron.  It has a metal cover which is secured to the bucket by a metal stud riveted to the top.  The handle is a chain attached to two hooks on the bucket.  The bucket was used to hold tar.
