This is a near mint cavalry sword knot. The leather is buff and is unmarked. It is 18 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. All of the tassels are present, and the two keepers are complete. This is an excellent sword knot. We have only encountered 4 buff sword knots in over 30 years. If you want the correct word knot for a Mexican War Model 1840 Cavalry Saber, this is your opportunity.
