Captain's Epaulettes / SOLD

Original wartime shoulder epaulettes for the rank of captain.  This embroidered gold bullion set exhibits a nice mellow gold patina with highlights from the bright bullion.  A genuinely nice pattern of bullion pn the captain’s bars, some flat, some glossy in an alternating pattern.  The undersides are lined with yellow silk and retain the brass attachment bars.  Wonderful addition to any collection of Civil War insignia.
