Cased Model 1855 "Root" Revolver C. 1861 - Inventory Number: HAN 258

.31 caliber, serial number 1995, walnut grips, blued finish, marked on the top of the barrel "Colt's Pt. Address Col Colt/1855 Hartford Ct. U.S.A.", marked on the cylinder "Patented Sept 10th 1850", with a walnut case marked "M.A. BISHOP EQ" on the inside of the lid, with a key, Eley cap tin, Colt-marked mold, and an eagle flask.

Grip has a few light dings and nicks, retains about 30% blue finish faded to brown, the bore is bright and in good condition, the action functions properly, and in overall good condition.
