Cavalry Spur from Gettysburg - Inventory Number: GET 436 / SOLD
This “gutter-back “spur is the classic example used by Union Cavalrymen at the time of the Battle. It was recovered on Hanover Rs. In Gettysburg by a local relic hunter in the 1980’s It is lacking the iron rowel and suffered a small split on one side which is likely the reason it was lost. A neat example of a cavalry relic from the field of Gettysburg!
