Civil War Bugle - Inventory Number: MUS 166 / SOLD

Classic Civil War double twist bugle with German silver reinforced bell garland.  This example is imported and bears a hand-engraved maker’s mark on the garland: ‘Lidl. Brunn”.

The body shows extensive use with scattered dents, pushes and abrasions.  The mouthpiece appears to be a later replacement to complete the display.  Overall, an excellent wartime example that has a solid used in the field look to it.
