Civil War Bulls-Eye Canteen  - Inventory Number: CAN 065 / SOLD

Regulation Bulls-eye canteen contracted from Hadden, Porter & Booth, Philadelphia, marked on the spout. Nice honest example with a portion of an old printed label on the face with “Camp Dennison” and a name somewhat legible.  Accompanied by its original scarce leather strap, detached - fractured at the retention loops on both sides.  A classic example of the 7-ring bulls-eye pattern with some history.
