Civil War Candlesticks - Inventory Number: CAM 305 / SOLD
A great pair of Civil War period sheet brass collapsible camp candlesticks. The bases measure 3" in diameter and all pieces are in excellent condition with just expected signs of normal use and a wonderful untouched patina. The candle cups stand straight, the screw threads work fine and both halves are nice and tight when screwed together. These candlesticks have been found among Civil War soldiers' effects, and a similar pair is illustrated in Schuyler, Hartley and Graham's 1864 catalog.
