Civil War Coffee Boiler - Sold
Commonly referred to "Mucket" with lid measures approximately 5" in diameter and is approximately 4" deep. Coffee became a staple of the soldier's life during the Civil War. Whenever and wherever Union infantry, cavalry, or artillery men stopped for a break, wood was gathered and quickly turned into small fires. A pot or "boiler" would appear.
