Civil War Era Bleeder / SOLD

 Device for "Blood-letting" or cupping.  Designed to remove impurities and infections.  This device with three blades.  The outer sleeve is brass the blades are steel.  As a medical therapy, bleeding or bloodletting endured for approximately 2,500 years.  It was only abandoned at the beginning of the 19th century.
