Civil War patriotic pin in the form of a shield with an American Flag motif and “Union” in a scroll. Constructed of 18 karat gold and the reverse has the correct Civil War style attachment pin. It measures 7/8” by 5/8”. A very attractive patriotic piece.

Comes housed in a 4 x 5 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
