Collection of three pieces of non-excavated, Civil War U.S. hat insignia. The lot includes a company letter “A”, a "Jeff Davis" or Hardee Hat eagle insignia used to pin up the side of the Army felt dress hat, and an infantry “hunting horn” insignia. Each has all of the attachment loops and matching, uncleaned patina. Presented in an 8” by 6” riker case with black, oval mat and red felt background. An excellent starter collection of Civil War headgear insignia.
