Accompanying the piece is a small paper label with “W.H. Smith” in ink. Possibly a mourning ribbon for a fallen comrade or loved one. A very unique piece of Confederate history.
Comes housed in a 14 x 20 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
