Wonderful Civil War era song sheet book measuring 13 1/4" x 10 1/2".  Personalized on the cover: "Mary Hurst" and inscription on fly page.  This bound volume contains over twenty songs printed in 1861-1863, mostly patriotic with beautiful hand-colored cover pages.  Cover detached, binding good with several torn pages.

Songs include:  The Adjutants Polka, the "contraband" dedicated to General Butler, the Light Guard Quickstep dedicated to the Milwaukee light Guard, Major General Pop's Grand March, General Burnsides Victory March, Colonel Baker's Funeral March, Butlers New Orleans March, The Monitor Grans March - dedicated to Captain John Worden, General Lander's Funeral March, General Lyon's Funeral March, Western Reserve Grand March, Advanced Guards March, etc.
