Complete Civil War Union infantry belt rig. The leather belt is the early war style with the leather loop keeper rather than brass and is in good supple condition. The buckle is the arrow hook variety with the arrows behind the “U.” The cap pouch is also the early war style with a shield front and is missing the interior lamb’s wool and closure strap. Both the interior flap of the cap pouch and the back of the belt bear the maker’s mark of F. Chillingworth of Greenfield, Massachusetts. A nice matching Civil War belt rig that shows honest use.
