Civil War US Marine Corps Shako Hat Insignia - Inventory Number: INS 350 / SOLD

A nice unused set of brass insignia for the shako worn by members of the United States Marine Corps. The is an unused set—the final piece would have been a brass hunting horn with left “M” affixed to the center of the shield. The width is about 5 3/4” wide. The shield measures about 3 1/2” x 3 3/4”. Really a nice pair. Scarce.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
