Civil War Mann's Patent Cartridge Box / SOLD

This is an attractive original leather cartridge box - Mann's patent.  The outer flap is intact and is embossed with "U.S." the maker's mark is very visible"E. GAYLORD CHICOPEE, MASS".  The brass finial on the bottom of the box is present.  The closure tab is present and in sound condition.  On the back side of the box it has both of the original leather loops where the belt would have went through.  The leather has a great color.
