Clipped Corner Belt Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 490 / SOLD

This example is widely seen in period photos of early war Confederate troops. This fine, non-excavated example retains a nice finish with gold gilt and mild patina.  The back of the plate retains the tongue and belt loop, affixed with oxidized solder of the period.  Neat example!
