Nice variety of relics excavated from Cashtown, Pennsylvania, which was a significant staging area and retreat route during the Gettysburg Campaign. The lot includes a lead finial from a Confederate cartridge box, a dropped .58 caliber Confederate Gardner bullet, an 1820s-1830s one-piece U.S. Artillery button, and an unknown strip of lead, possible for casting bullets. A nice collection of artifacts from the Gettysburg Campaign.
Comes housed in a 4 x 5 inch display case with grey velvet backing and descriptive card.
