Confederate Bowie Knife / SOLD

Superb example of a Confederate fighting knife.  This example measures 15” with a 10” clipped point blade.  The lathe turned handle retains its original varnish finish and exhibits a series of tooled lines and an iron collar.  The tang is seated with an iron fitting as well.  From the collection of Ben Michele and Norm Flayderman.
