Wonderful original example of a Confederate Cavalry Saber.  Blade exhibits the classic "unstopped fuller" and is in excellent condition.  The grip retains 100% original leather and twisted wire.  The original scabbard is also in very fine condition, with the usual crude lap-seam to its reverse.  From the Collection of William Albaugh, author of many reference books on Confederate swords.
