Excavated, local manufactured North Carolina 23mm two-piece coat button. The face shows a worn die strike with a purple and light green patina. The back is blank and is missing the shank. This variety is listed as NC210 in Uniform Buttons of the United States 1776-1865 by Warren K. Tice. An attractive example.
Comes housed in a 4 x 6 inch display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.
