Confederate Virginia Coat Button from Gettysburg - Inventory Number: GET 365 / SOLD

Virginia coat button from an early Gettysburg collection. Virginia “local” manufactured, two-piece construction with a plain back and intact shank. The face depicts the Virginia state seal with Virtus slaying the tyrant and “Sic Semper Tyrannis,” and exhibits a deep copper colored patina. A very fine example from the Battle of Gettysburg. 

Comes housed in a display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
