Civil War Eagle Drum - Inventory Number: MUS 106 / SOLD

Wonderful original military drum with painted eagle.  Manufactured by: C&F Soistmann of Philadelphia – “Manufacturer of all drums – 158 Dillwyn St., Philadelphia, PA.”. Charles and Francis Soistmann supplied regiments from Wisconsin, Maine and Pennsylvania.  The drum measures: 15 ½” x 16 ¾” features a wonderful tack design.  The top head is original, and the bottom head is replaced as well as ropes and tensioners.  Wonderful example, priced well below market.
