Embroidered Infantry Officers Insignia - Inventory Number:  INS 365 / SOLD

Near mint condition. Example for the 6th regiment of infantry.

Oval patch features an image of an infantry horn. Background is black felt with gold bullion thread and sequence used to embroider the horn. Gold is semi-bright, with original gilt remaining on higher surfaces. Back of patch is black muslin and is hand-stitched to the black felt. Patch is intact and stitching is tight. Attachment hooks are present. In outstanding condition.

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
