Gettysburg Parrott Shell - Inventory Number: ART 275 / Sold
The standard ammunition for the 3-inch Parrot rifled cannon. This shell was fired but remains in excellent condition. Possibly an early pick-up. The fuse adaptor is worn as is typical of these zinc fuses. Recovered from the Gettysburg Battlefield, with letter of provenance.
