Red, white, and blue striped silk ribbon that was sold in Gettysburg to tourists and veterans, circa 1890-1910. “Souvenir” and “Gettysburg” are ornately printed on the ribbon in gold ink. The Soldiers’ National Monument is depicted at center, which was built in the center of the Gettysburg National Cemetery and dedicated in 1869. The ribbon is suspended from an ornate stamped brass pin. The ribbon measures 8” by 2 1/2” and is a very attractive vintage Gettysburg souvenir.
Comes housed in a display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
