Wonderful 14 karat gold and black enamel brooch depicting George Washington.  A General and President with a powerful legacy.  In the 1800’s, many items were created to retain his memory and the ideals of the causes he held dear.

Measuring 36mm x 43mm.   The reverse retains the original “T” bar pin and open clasp on convex gold panel.
