Identified US 1861 Infantry & Rifle Tactics Manual - Inventory Number: HIS 233

Manual identified to Lieutenant Joseph T. McCord, 1st Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry (30th PA Infantry). McCord was commissioned as a lieutenant on June 6,1861. During his service he was wounded and captured. McCord was subsequently exchanged for Confederate Brigadier General Johnson K. Duncan on August 27, 1862. He was discharged for disability on October 7, 1862.
Very good dark green cloth covered book. Small chips on spine and corners. Battle plan fold out adjacent to title page. Many illustrations and several additional foldouts.
