"Jeff Davis" Hardee Hat Insignia - Inventory Number: INS 226 / SOLD

Stamped brass "Jeff Davis" or Hardee Hat eagle insignia used to pin up the side of the Army felt dress hat. Brass surface has an even mellow gold patina and both original loops affixed to the reverse.  Excellent original example.

Comes housed in 5 inch x 6 inch riker display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
