A .44 and .46. caliber Over-And-Under Flintlock Box-Lock Tap-Action Pistol by Ketland & Co, London.  A finely made pistol with Birmingham proof marks.  Brass framed with engraved action signed “Ketland” on the left and inscribed 'London' on the right each beneath a swag, fitted with associated tap lever on the left, and atop the frame is fitted with a circular tap lever and a sliding lever that engages the cock. Slab (flat)-sided walnut butt, iron trigger guard with engraved star. Underside of breech with Birmingham proof marks.
