Button depicts the state seal of Michigan button, an elk, moose and an eagle, with a hunter inside the shield, intended for officers of Michigan militia units. Backmark: "SCOVILL MF'G CO, / WATERBURY." dm between two rings of dots. Three part officer staff button, coat size.  Stand up shank intact.
