Pattern 1851 belt made for NCOs, constructed of bridle leather with a solid cast officer’s style two-piece buckle. The leather is strong and very supple with honest wear, and the buckle has a beautiful rich, uncleaned patina. The army revolver holster appears to have been with the belt since the war and has the same supple leather, complete with closure tab and a maker’s mark on the flap. In good condition and only missing the leather plug at the bottom. A wonderful Civil War belt rig for any collection.
