Model 1855 Bayonet / SOLD

U.S. Model 1855 socket bayonet for the 1855-1863 pattern rifle-muskets. It measures 21” and is marked “US” on the blade. The bayonet is complete with locking ring and has an even, brown patina overall. A nice example.
