North Carolina Sunburst Button / SOLD

Excavated North Carolina 22mm one piece button with “Sunburst” design. These were struck locally of thin gauge sheet copper with a loop shank that was inadequately soldered to the back, resulting in their loss after very little use. The button has a nice, light green patina in recessed areas. A classic Confederate North Carolina button. 

Comes housed in a 4 x 6 inch display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.
