Pistol Cartridge Box

Pistol Cartridge Box - Inventory Number: LEA 379

Original pistol cartridge box with very fine leather and tight seams. The flap shows very fine minor surface crazing. The center of the flap bears the embossed letters “U.S.” and “T.J. Shephard”.  Latch tab is complete and held in place with an arched line of stitching and copper rivet. The interior of the box is clean. The back has both belt loops. Belt loops are stitched and riveted. Brass finial is present on bottom. Good condition.
