Remington Police Model Revolver - Inventory Number: HAN 113 / Sold

Designed to compete with the Colt Model 1862 Police sidearm and the Pocket Navy revolvers, this .36 caliber percussion, five-shot revolver features a 3 1/2" long octagonal barrel.  Receiver and frame have smooth grey metal. Barrel shows makers stampings of "PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858 MARCH 17, 1863 / E. REMINGTON 7 SONS, ILION, NEW YORK U.S.A. / NEW MODEL'.  The revolver is in very good condition and has a two-piece unvarnished walnut grip.
