October 4, 1776, Revolutionary war land deed in excellent condition. Jacob Hershey sells land to John Eby in Lancaster County PA following the death of Andrew Eby in 1776, 114 acres in the township of Warwick signed by various members of the Eny family at base of document.
Jacob Hershey was born on 11 April 1742, in Hempfield Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America, his father, Andrew Hershey, was 40 and his mother, Mary Catharine, was 37. He married Anna Newcomer in 1771, in Derry Township, Dauphin, Pennsylvania, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 14 April 1825, in Salisbury Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in New Milltown, Salisbury Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States.
