Rifle Powder Flask / SOLD

Mid-19th century brass rifle powder flask with raised clamshell flourish. The original spout is present and functional with latch and spring for dispensing powder. Both brass sling rings are present. The flask retains a deep, uncleaned brass patina and has numerous dings and dents with some small areas of separation at the seams from heavy use.
